ModuSpec to deliver multiple land projects across Continental Europe

ModuSpec has secured several contracts to support both existing and new clients onshore across Continental Europe in Q2 2026.

Valued at more than £250,000, the projects span four land-based rigs contracted for a range of well programmes, including carbon capture and storage (CCS) and complex high-pressure, high-temperature operations.

In France, ModuSpec will attend a Bentec designed land drilling rig to verify the condition and status of equipment maintenance ahead of a three well re-entry programme.

A separate team will be involved in a multi-staged intake project of a single rack and pinion DrillTec designed land rig in Germany. The scope includes review of certification and documentation prior to attending the rig to verify the condition and state of equipment maintenance.

In Hungary, ModuSpec will support an existing client that has contracted a Bentec design land rig intended for use on complex high-pressure, high-temperature wells in 2027. Preparation for the upcoming campaign has already commenced with a comprehensive review of certification, documentation and rig visits planned in Q2 2026.

Additionally, a team of discipline specific surveyors will attend a rig owner’s facility to assess the readiness of a Bentec design modular land rig for an upcoming CCS project in Denmark.

Mark Watson, Regional Director with ModuSpec, said: “We are pleased to be supporting a number of existing and new clients with onshore projects across Continental Europe. The land-based rigs are being deployed on technically complex projects and we have been requested to provide verification of specific aspects of compliance and readiness – much more than just a tick the box exercise.

“A big thank you also goes to our clients for continuing to place their trust in ModuSpec to support a complex and critical part of their preparation to safely commence operations.”
