ModuSpec has appointed Aida Ariff as Business Development Lead, APAC, further strengthening its commitment to supporting clients and expanding its presence across one of the world's most active and evolving energy markets.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Aida will be responsible for driving business development activities across the Asia Pacific region, strengthening client relationships, identifying new opportunities and helping clients access the full breadth of ModuSpec's technical assurance and digital services, alongside workforce development programmes and training delivered through sister company Well Academy.
The appointment reflects ModuSpec's ongoing investment in the region as operators, drilling contractors and asset owners navigate increasing technical assurance, asset integrity and workforce competence challenges.
With a career spanning offshore engineering, subsea projects and business development, Aida brings a unique combination of technical expertise and commercial leadership to the role. After beginning her career within PETRONAS Carigali, she went on to support major international offshore developments with Wood Group Kenny before building a successful track record in business development and portfolio growth.
Having recently joined the business, Aida attended the SPE/IADC Drilling Technology Conference & Exhibition Asia Pacific in Bali alongside ModuSpec's leadership team, meeting clients and industry peers from across the region.
Commenting on her appointment, Aida said: “What excites me most is the opportunity to engage with clients across APAC, understand their challenges and help connect them with solutions that deliver real value. Having worked in both engineering and business development roles, I understand the importance of combining technical expertise with a strong commercial focus.
“The region continues to present significant opportunities and I look forward to working alongside our teams to strengthen relationships, support our clients and contribute to ModuSpec's next phase of growth.”
Robert Hall, Regional Director APAC, said: “Asia Pacific remains a strategically important region for ModuSpec and we're continuing to invest in both our people and capabilities to support our clients’ evolving needs. Aida's technical background, international experience and relationship-focused approach make her an excellent addition to the team.
“As activity continues across both established and emerging markets, her appointment strengthens our ability to support clients with the technical assurance, digital and workforce development solutions they need to operate safely and effectively.”
As ModuSpec enters its fifth decade of supporting the energy industry, the company continues to build on its heritage in technical assurance while expanding its offering through innovative digital solutions and workforce development programmes delivered through Well Academy. Aida’s appointment reflects ModuSpec’s ongoing commitment to investing in regional expertise and supporting clients across the full asset lifecycle.
